- Solid performance and responsivness of the UI
- Supports Quick Charge 4 (even though it doesn't ship with such a charger).

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is what you’ve all been waiting for finally it’s now in the palm of your hands, the phone that will start a new era of powerful mid-range phones at an affordable price .
There’s simply nothing like it in the market right now now a lot of my friends have been asking how is this phone even possible get this a snapdragon 616 processor a 48 megapixel camera USB type-c with QC 4.0 plus .
Technology Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and a very eye-catching premium back design that captured everyone’s attention my friends this is the most mind-blowing smartphone our website will be reviewing to date .
I’m actually excited to see some of the real world results I would get on this I am sure you are as well game’s battery charging drain but more importantly is that forty eight megapixel monster of a camera is the camera really good as Fred me is claiming it to be while we’re here .
let the unboxing begin …
let’s see what’s in the box first we have another little package there’s some paperwork in here and an included silicon case, nice, now we see the phone itself all in black, yeah it is a glass phone and looks good and we have a USBC cable here and the included 10 watt charger so now that we have the redmi .
note 7 in our hands let’s go over as key features …
first up a premium build now even though this is a budget phone it doesn’t look like xiaomi has skipped on the build quality here the phone is made of curved Gorilla Glass look we’ve seen from a lot of more expensive phones lately the fingerprint reader is mounted on the back to, Xiaomi has made claims that this build is quite durable, even posting videos where they use it to crush walnuts or chop fruits on the surface .
we’ll have to wait for some real durability tests online to know for sure, but one thing is certain this phone has some great looks, and there’s a 3.5 millimeter jack up at the top for headphones too, on the front there’s a 6.3 inch IPS LCD with a 1080p resolution and a water drop knowledge, content looks good on here we’ll test out the panel and include the results in our full review .
next up a solid mid-range chipset, now the redmi note 7 runs on a snapdragon 616 chipset leave the 3-4 or even 6 gigs of RAM, some pretty nice specs, you shouldn’t have any problems gaming on this phone, at least I didn’t in the few games I tried so far, everything feels nice and smooth .
the interface is smooth 2 is MIA white n over the latest Android 9 pi it’s not stock Android but is as you’d expect from Xiaomi .
third on the list a large battery, just like previous redmi notes the note seven packs of four thousand milliamp hour battery, more than most of their phone’s, battery life here should be quite good, however although the phone does support quick charge for the included 10 watt charger doesn’t, so you might need to grab a third party one for faster charging .
and finally an impressive looking camera, the redmi note 7 has a dual camera setup, nothing out of the ordinary, except here the main camp acts a whopping 48 megapixels, it’s a bright F 1.8 aperture camera with phase detection autofocus .
the five megapixel secondary cam is only there for depth sensing in portrait mode, just a note that by default regular photos will come out in 12 megapixels, you can enable the full 48 in the pro mode settings though .
here are a few shots for you to check out …
and here’s a selfie taken with a 13 megapixel front facing camera …
so there you have it guys the redmi note 7 looks like a killer phone for such a low price but are there any major shortcomings we’ll run our tests unless you know in our four of you and as always leave any questions you have down below see you
